Can Kerch be called a theatrical town? This is a bold question. The theatrical Kerch is little known to the inhabitants of many big cities, some of them do not even know where our city is located. It is, consequently, rather pleasant to tell abut the achievements of a young theatrical amateur company founded nearly two years ago under the guardianship of the Kerch Jewish Community.

Dreams come true if a desire is strong. Theatrical stars emerge if somebody needs this. The head of the Khmelnitsky regional charitable foundation " Hesed Besht" Igor Ratushny was burning with the idea: to make art lovers glad with a musical show and to create a theatre-studio which was later named "Reidl" - "Wheel". The invitations were sent to the producer Ivan Kroplis, to the ballet-master - Merited Artist of Ukraine Alexander Shimansky, and the theatre's wheel started rotating.

In the morning I looked out from the window and saw it was snowing... "There will, probably, come only a few spectators, and we have been rehearsing so hard!" - I thought about the scheduled for that day performance of our theatre dedicated to the 143rd anniversary of Sholom Aleikhem's birthday. I was, luckily, mistaken - the audience began showing up long before the beginning of the concert.
