Belarus. The representatives of a German charitable organization "Help to Gomel. Medical aid to Belarus", headed by Dieter Knautz, delivered a regular humanitarian convoy to the region center. As it is informed, the medicines have gone to former prisoners of fascist concentration camps and persons who were forced to work in Germany.

Russia. Israeli theater "Gabima" had a concert tour in Moscow. The program consisted of three plays: "Requiem about Naomi", "Anna Frank's diary" and "Aviya life's summer".

"Gabima" was created in Moscow in 1916. The teachers of the studio were K.Stanislavskty, directors and actors of the MAAT. During 1917-1922 the art director of the theater was Y.Vakhtangov. Since 1930 the "Gabima" theater permanently works in Tel-Aviv.

Russia. A Jewish community center "Shalom" was opened in Stavropol. During four years members of Jewish community had rented basements or rooms in trade centers for their needs before they could get own premises. They can now study Hebrew, learn the culture and history of Israel in spacious and bright center halls.

Belarus. The Jewish community center was solemnly opened on April 24 in Minsk. "Every family is happy when there appears an opportunity to settle in an own house, - underlined President of Belarus Jewish Communities Union Leonid Levin. - Now we have such a day, too". Representatives of country district communities as well as the Ambassador of USA to Belarus Michael Kozak and Turkish Ambassador Fatma Sule Soysal were present at the ceremony.

Nowadays the community embraces 30 thousand members.

Russia. At the sitting of the Board of Guardians of "Holocaust" Foundation, which members are former Minister of Economics Yevgeny Yesin, member of the Council ofFederation Leonid Nevzlin, lawyer Henri Reznik and others, Leonid Nevzlin was elected Head of the Board. The foundation officials actively work at schools. The textbook "History of Holocaust on the territory of the USSR" has been published. It is the first manual of such kind.

Board members passed a decision on creating a Russian Holocaust Museum. They also discussed a new film. It is devoted to a killing of Jewish antifascist committee's leaders by Russian butchers.

Film-making is already in progress. The film director, on the request of Ministry of Culture of Russia, is Alexander Zeldovich. The film is planned to be ready by August 12 (it will be 50th anniversary since the killing of JAC leaders).
