Undoubtedly, a culture center is needed, but a compromise should be achieved. The chosen place is not a proper place for it. In addition, I want to say that the "Menorah" monument has not been finished yet.

According to the design, small earth walls should have marked the "Menorah" monument. So, before starting a new construction, the previous one should be completed.

To my mind, the right decision is to build only the memorial center. As you know, there have been built other monuments and memorial signs in Babiy Yar already.

I don't know where to find a new place for the center. Negotiations with the city administration should be held. However, as the money allotted to the center's construction is from foreign sources, it will be expedient to persuade the foreign donators that we have different realities and attitude towards this piece of land.
