- Scientific insignificance of Shchekin's article rouses no doubts. There is another disturbing thing - publication of his article by such seemingly respectable edition with rather famous fathers-guardians.

We are particularly worried by a recent tendency of anti-Semitic manifestations: pogroms of synagogues in a number of towns of Ukraine, vandalism in cemeteries, as well as a desire of some officials to control independent mass media. We should unite all our forces to counteract such manifestations.
