The country is suffering an economic recession. According to the Israeli Bank, the data on the state's economic development in the II and III quarters show a growing depression almost in all regions. The production in the high-tech sector decreased by 10%. However, the traditional production went down only by 1,1%. The amount of industrial production in the III quarter decreased by 7,7%, after falling by 14% in the II quarter. In the construction sector (II quarter) the number of newly erected buildings decreased by 40%, and by 70% - in the public sector. The number of tourists, who came to Israel from April till September, decreased by 54,5%.
The unemployment rate during this period, according to official data, was 8,6%.

The relatives of people perished in the Tu-154 incident will receive about $1.5 thousand from Ukraine. This is a compensation amount agreed between the governments of Israel and Ukraine. The Russian insurance company "ASEF" shall pay 60 thousand rubles (about 2 thousand dollars) to the relatives of each perished Russian.
It was previously supposed that the compensation for every perished citizen of Israel or Russia would make up $20 thousand. According to international legislation rules, families of the perished may be eligible for $1.5 million moral compensation.
