Russia. A Jewish cemetery is ruined in Rybinsk. During the recent years it is already the third act of vandalism in the city Jewish cemetery. The chairman of Jewish community "Lekhaim" said that almost all monuments had been ruined. There is nobody to restore them. The chairman addressed the citizens of Rybinsk with a request to assist in finding those who had arranged the pogrom in the old Jewish cemetery.

Poland. Vandals crashed nearly 70 gravestones in the Jewish cemetery in Vrotslav. The chairman of Vrotslav Jewish community Moses Honigsfeld stated the police didn't even include this information into its press-report.
The Jewish cemetery in Vrotslav was established in 1900. During its existence it has repeatedly been desecrated.
France. The municipal court of Montpelier city has sentenced a 25-year old criminal to 5 years of imprisonment. The second participant of the hooligan prank would spend in prison 2 years and the last one got a suspended sentence. In April this company started a dispute about the Near East conflict. On the way to a synagogue they were drinking alcohol and then threw a bottle of "Molotov cocktail" into a basement window of the building.

Great Britain. More than 7500 persons put their signatures under the letter of protest against the anti-Israeli position occupied by a TV-broadcasting corporation BBC while covering the events in the Near East. Representatives of Jewish community of Great Britain together with the officials of Israel's Embassy passed their protest over to the Corporation's General Director.
Romania. Romanian authorities banned the activity of a private TV station due to broadcasting an interview with anti-Semitic and racist statements. The National Council on audio-video mass media supported the decision to deprive the OTV company of the right to broadcast despite the opposition of human rights' organizations. They mentioned such a decision violates the freedom of word. 9 members of the Council were "for" the ban, 1 - "against".
Russia. The public fund "Tolerance" sent to the General Prosecutor of RF a letter with a request to bring to court the participants of anti-Semitic agitation, which took place during the election campaign of mayor of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhegorodskaya region. One of the candidates, Vladimir Brikker, turned to the "Tolerance" fund. He informed that on September 12 "a fake issue of the "Dzerzhinets" city newspaper was published. It was completely dedicated to the agitation against the above stated candidate of Jewish nationality".
