The Kiev Institute for social and community workers (KISCW) has slowly but steadily been developing an idea to organize a separate training course for deputy directors of kheseds, leadership of khesed branches and reserve to fill leading positions in kheseds. This process was slow because the course is totally new - we, so far, have neither corresponding theoretical methodological elaborations, nor relevant experience. Alongside, we know this work is necessary. As a result, we have developed a program "Basics of management in charitable Jewish services".

Its founder and coordinator has been and remains Myuda Gekhman - a person able to unite spirituality and wisdom of people of different nationalities, even of diverse outlooks.
