Poland. An exhibition dedicated to Jews fighting in Polish armed forces during the World War II has opened in Warsaw. Wartime documents are represented at the exhibition organized by the Jewish historical institute. Among the exhibits - a unique copy of Torah printed especially for army Rabbis in 1935. According to official data, there were 13,5 thousand Jews (near 6,6% of the whole army) in Polish army in 1937. 130 thousand Polish Jews fought in various units during the war. Nearly 10 thousand Jews died in the struggle.
